OnlyFans leaks: get your content taken down
Content meant for your subscribers is showing up for free on forums, Telegram or leak sites? Here is how to get it removed, and how to limit the next leak.
Where your content ends up
Subscription content usually leaks through a subscriber who downloads and reposts it. It then shows up on leak forums, Telegram channels, Reddit communities, mirror sites, and in Google Images results for your username. Leaks cost you subscribers, and sometimes expose your real identity.
First moves
- Keep evidence of every copy:
- the exact address (URL) of every page, post or channel;
- a screenshot showing the content, the address and the date;
- the name of the account or site posting it, and the date it was posted.
- Send a copyright takedown notice (DMCA notice) to every site: your content is a protected work, and you do not need to register anything to do this.
- Report Telegram channels in the app, and by email to dmca@telegram.org for copyright.
- Get the pages delisted by Google, starting with the ones that show up when people search your username.
- Tell the platform you sell on: it can identify and suspend the subscriber account behind the leak.
What platforms do, and what they do not
OnlyFans, Fansly and similar platforms can act on their own site, for example by suspending a subscriber who reposts your content. But they have no power over an outside forum or Telegram channel: copies there come down through requests sent to each site, its host and the search engines, by you or by a provider acting on your behalf.
Limiting the next leak
- Watermark: add your username to your photos and videos. It makes reposting less attractive and proves you are the author.
- Per-buyer watermark: for pay-per-view content, a mark unique to each buyer lets you trace the source of a leak.
- Keep your identities apart: avoid linking your creator name to your real name, your city or your personal accounts.
- Monitor continuously: a leak caught within the hour takes one report; caught after a month, it takes fifty.
What the law says
Your photos and videos are protected by copyright from the moment you create them: reposting them without permission is infringement in virtually every country. If a leak comes with your real identity or address being exposed to put you at risk (doxxing), that can be a separate offence, and platforms ban it.
