Terms of sale

1. Purpose

These terms govern the “Unlimited protection” subscription offered by Léo Allouche EI (“SOS Deepfake”) on sosdeepfake.com. The subscription is open to consumers and businesses; some clauses apply to consumers only, as stated.

2. The service

For the whole duration of the subscription, SOS Deepfake:

SOS Deepfake is bound by a best-efforts obligation. The decision to remove or delist content belongs solely to the platform, host or search engine concerned: no result is guaranteed.

SOS Deepfake provides no legal advice, drafts no legal documents and does not represent the client in court. On request, SOS Deepfake can refer the client to an independent lawyer, whom the client chooses and pays freely.

Priority option (optional): priority handling of the client's content, with first reports filed the same day for content sent or found before 2 pm (Paris time) on a business day.

3. Mandate and identity

By subscribing, the client authorises SOS Deepfake to file the reports and requests described above on their behalf. The client confirms that they are the person concerned by the content, or are duly authorised to act for them (legal representative of a company, agency instructed by the talent). SOS Deepfake may ask for proof of identity before taking action; it is used only for these requests and is not kept beyond their duration.

SOS Deepfake does not handle cases concerning minors and refers them to the dedicated services listed on our under-18 page.

4. Prices and payment

The Priority option is optional and is taken for the same length as the subscription.

Prices in euros. VAT not applicable (article 293 B of the French tax code). Payment is made online through Stripe. SOS Deepfake never has access to the client's card details.

5. Term, renewal and cancellation

Cancel online from the customer portal, or by email to contact@sosdeepfake.com.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Consumers have 14 days from subscription to withdraw, without giving a reason, by writing to contact@sosdeepfake.com or using the form below.

The service starts immediately after subscription, at the client's express request, which the client acknowledges when paying. In case of withdrawal, the client pays for the service provided until the withdrawal is communicated, in proportion to the total price. The right of withdrawal no longer applies to a service fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period.

7. Refund if no action is possible

If no action is possible for the situation described by the client (for example because no content can be reported), SOS Deepfake refunds the client on request within 30 days of subscription:

8. Client obligations

The client provides accurate information and only asks for removal of content concerning them or over which they hold rights. SOS Deepfake may refuse or stop any request that is clearly unfounded or abusive, in particular a request to remove legitimate information or information in the public interest.

9. Liability

SOS Deepfake is not liable for the decisions of platforms, hosts and search engines, nor for content reposted by third parties. Except in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, its liability is limited to the amount paid by the client in the previous twelve months.

10. Personal data

The client's data is processed as described in our privacy policy.

11. Mediation

In case of a dispute, consumers first send a written complaint to SOS Deepfake at contact@sosdeepfake.com. If the dispute is not resolved, they may refer it free of charge to the consumer mediator SOS Deepfake is registered with: CM2C (Centre de la médiation de la consommation de conciliateurs de justice), 49, rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, www.cm2c.net.

The mediator can be contacted online on the CM2C website or by post at the address above, within one year of the written complaint sent to SOS Deepfake.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. This does not deprive consumers of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where they live, and consumers may bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
